Multiple Kittens Brought To Local Shelter
Cat’s Cradle Shelter is asking anyone who knows information regarding a box of kittens left in a ditch in Glyndon to come forward.
Volunteers say that new kittens need their mother, and they won’t ask any questions.
A city mower found the litter on Friday and called the shelter.
This is the fourth call in three weeks they’ve received about abandoned kittens.
Cat’s Cradle wants to remind the public to spay and neuter their animals.
There are local organizations such as “Paaws” that can do it for a low cost.
“We’re putting them right around two weeks. But they are chunks! If you look at those little tummies, those are some well–fed babies. So they are a little bit heavy for two weeks but that’s kind of where we are putting them,” says Jill Lamp, Volunteer.
The kittens will be available for adoption when they are 12 weeks old.
Cat’s Cradle currently has 42 adult cats that are looking for a home.
