Traveling with the Herd? Bison Fans Won’t be Lonely in Iowa!
The Bison are headed to Iowa to take on the Hawkeyes Saturday, and fans can expect a bit more Bison Pride in Iowa City this weekend.
Marty, the NDSU Bookstore’s mobile gift shop, is making the trip south with the Bison football team.
Marty allows alumni living in other parts of the country to flex their Bison pride away from Fargo.
Bison fans taking the trip will be able to stock up on their favorite team gear all weekend.
“One is the Pep Fest on Friday night that opens at the Marriott in Coralville, Iowa, it’ll be open through all the events that evening at the Pep Fest, and we also open bright and early at 7 am at the tailgating lawn before the game,” says Kim Anvinson, Associate Director of the NDSU Bookstore.
Marty has become a tradition in recent years for gearing up Bison fans in Frisco, Texas during the championship games.
The bookstore plans on taking Marty out on up to three road trips this season.
