VP Nominee on the Clinton Campaign Trail in Minnesota
Democratic vice-presidential nominee Tim Kaine paid a visit to Minneapolis while running mate Hillary Clinton stayed off the campaign trail with a bout of pneumonia.
Kaine chatted with students at the University of Minnesota’s Twin Cities campus.
He posed with students outside Coffman Memorial Union and told them he felt like it was a “hometown event.”
Kaine was born in St. Paul.
He later met privately with former Vice President Walter Mondale before attending a fundraiser in Minneapolis.
