14th Annual Fargo Fantastic Film Festival Comes to a Close
The 14th annual Fargo Fantastic Film Festival came to a close tonight.
They hosted an array of screenings; the big one is a documentary about local celebrity Madd Frank.
Madd Frank was given a life time achievement award from the festival before the documentary screening.
The festival hosted 75 films over the past three days.
Films were submitted by local artists, students, and people from 30 different countries.
“Well Minnesota State University Moorhead is the only school in the region that has a four year film degree program. Actually Minneapolis doesn’t even have one. So between Chicago and Seattle MSUM is the place to go for film. There’s over 300 film students over there and there’s a lot of other independent film makers in our region. So yeah we have a pretty vibrant film community,” says Chairman of the Fargo Fantastic Film Festival Tony Tilton.
