“Luke’s Diner” Set to Open in Fargo
Two Fargo coffee shops are celebrating the upcoming premiere of Gilmore Girls.
Netflix has chosen Twenty Below Coffee and Red Raven Espresso Parlor to be transformed into Luke’s Diner from the hit TV show.
From 7 am to noon Wednesday, the first 250 fans in the door can enjoy a cup of coffee for free.
For the owners of the two coffee shops, being chosen to take part in the Gilmore Girls tribute is all about connecting with the show’s many fans.
“We just thought it would be a cool opportunity to reach a different demographic. We’re not sure how many of our regular customers are fans of the show, but we do want to draw some fans up and wanted to do something kind of fun and a little bit different,” says Ty Ford of Twenty Below Coffee.
The show is returning to Netflix on November 25th for four episodes called Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.
More than 200 coffee shops across the country were chosen by Netflix to participate in the tribute event.
