Gov. Dayton Re-Launches Hiring Programs for Workers with Disabilities
Governor Dayton says he is re-launching two hiring programs that help people with disabilities get jobs.
Connect 700 gives workers a 700 hour trial to find the perfect job match and another program offers 50 full time positions to persons with disabilities.
Dayton says he wants to increase employment opportunities up to seven percent after the state is ranked among the worst for getting workers with disabilities jobs.
The current employment rate in the state is 6.2 percent.
