9/11 Survivor Shares Story at Harvest Leadership Prayer Breakfast
Focusing on September 11th, this year’s Harvest Leadership Prayer Breakfast was themed “Saluting our Protectors.”
Brian Birdwell, now a Texas Senator, told his story about surviving the 9/11 attack while working in the Pentagon.
Fargo Police Chief David Todd, Cass County Sherriff Paul Laney and also Fargo Fire Chief Steve Dirksen all joined Birdwell.
Musical guests performed and they also held a presentation of the Art Grimstard Christian Leadership Award.
“Spending a day in prayer, asking the lords blessing on our nation and that’s what it was about. We told a great story, the lords grace, that even in the calamity September 11, the lord still works so that’s what were here to remind people of,” says Brian Birdwell, State Senator from Texas.
The Harvest Leadership Prayer Breakfast has been an area tradition since 1978.
