No Death Penalty for Grand Forks Suspects Charged with Murder
Federal prosecutors will not seek the death penalty against two people charged in a murder in Grand Forks.
Krystal Feist and Modesto Torrez are charged in the death of Austin Forsman of Grand Forks.
He was shot while sitting in a car in the parking lot of Flying J on March 11th.
Feist and Torrez were considered eligible for capital punishment because the killing allegedly involved a drug deal.
Eight people have been indicted in a drug conspiracy tied to the murder.
