Jeremy Klein

Weekend Sports Anchor, Multimedia Journalist

Jeremy was born in St. Cloud, Minnesota and grew up in Avon, Minnesota. He attended
St. Cloud State University and graduated in 2016 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.
During Jeremy’s time at St. Cloud State University, he was named the Sports Director at the student run station, UTVS, in fall of 2013 as well as the Studio Host for the national award-winning hockey production, Husky Productions, in fall of 2014.
While at SCSU, the Broadcast Education Association awarded him numerous awards. He was awarded third place in the TV Sports Talent category in 2015 and second place in 2016. His story “More Than a Game: The TJ Frericks Story”, won second place in the TV Sports Story category while the pregame show he both hosted and produced, “Husky Faceoff”, won first place in the Sports Program category. Jeremy also won two Upper Midwest Emmy’s in 2016 for “Husky Faceoff” and “More Than a Game: The TJ Frericks Story”.
In 2014, Jeremy began his professional career as a runner for the FOX Sports 1 MLB All-Star Game held in Minneapolis. He also was a special statistician for NFL on FOX for the fall of 2015 and later interned in the Sports Department at WCCO in Minneapolis during the spring of 2016.
Jeremy is a big Minnesota sports fan (except for the gophers), along with being a fan of St. Cloud State he is also a HUGE Duke basketball fan. You can follow him on Twitter @jklein_7
