NDSU Bison Football Prep for First Practice of the Season

Tomorrow, the Bison hold their first of 15 practices, the most allowed by the NCAA

FARGO, N.D. — As the weather turns to spring, North Dakota State’s football team is gearing up for spring practices.

Tomorrow, the Bison hold their first of 15 practices, the most allowed by the NCAA.

It’ll be the first official practice since NDSU lost in the semifinals of the FCS Playoffs back in December.

Things are a little different for this team as they return to the gridiron without the title of “National Champions” for the first time since 2011.

“As coaches, we’re really excited because it’s been three months since we’ve played football rather than two months,” said Head Coach Chris Klieman. “So, we’re all excited as coaches to get started tomorrow and I know the players are as well.”

Keith Albertson will have much more on the start of spring practice, later in sports.
