Save Some Lives…You Could Drive Away with a New Harley Davidson Motorcycle
United Blood Services says they begin to see a decrease in donors during the summer months
FARGO, ND — Donating blood this summer could get you a free Harley Davidson.
United Blood Services says they begin to see a decrease in donors during the summer months.
The decline can be caused by vacation time and students being on summer break.
To entice new and current donors to come in to give blood, UBS is partnering with Harley Davidson in West Fargo.
Anyone who donates at one of their locations between June 1st and September 9th will be entered to win a brand new motorcycle.
“We’re encouraging people to come out and give and think about their community members,” said Caroline McGuire with UBS. “Maybe somebody in their family is fighting cancer. Think about those people who always need blood on the shelf. It’s the blood on the shelf that’s going to save a life.”
United Blood Services accepts whole blood, platelets, plasma and red cell donations.
