Former Bison Crockett Signs with Raiders
Crockett spent first two seasons with Green Bay.
ALAMEDA, Calif. (Oakland Raiders) – The Oakland Raiders have signed the following three free agents, the club announced Friday including former NDSU running back John Crockett.
Crockett originally signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in May 2015. He spent the entire 2016 season on the Reserve/Injured List. Crockett played in two games as a rookie in 2015, totaling nine carries for 21 yards.
The former Bison running back appeared in 46 games with 17 starts at North Dakota State, amassing 5,151 all-purpose yards, the second highest total in school history. As a senior in 2014, he set school records for all-purpose yards (2,419), rushing yards (1,994) and rushing attempts (368).
Crockett earned second-team Sports Network All-American and second-team All-Missouri Valley Football Conference honors.
