Fargo Man Dies After Motorcycle Crash
June 19, 2012
A Fargo man involved in a crash between a motorcycle and semi truck two weeks ago has died.
The crash happened June 4th on 25th Street South near Interstate 94.
29-year-old Jason Viestenz died at Essentia Health where he had been listed in critical condition.
Viestenz's 10-year-old son, Elijah was a passenger on the motorcycle when it collided with the semi.
The boy was wearing a helmet, but his father was not.
Elijah was treated and released from Essentia the day of the crash.
Police say the semi was swinging to the left to create enough room to make a right-hand turn.
The motorcycle moved into the right lane to pass the semi at 30 to 40 miles-per-hour.
