Fire Breaks Out At The Moorhead American Crystal Plant

Fire broke out at American Crystal Sugar in Moorhead just after 11:00 last night.
 
An empty tank on the fourth floor that was having maintenance caught on fire.

Flames worked their way up the tank and to the ceiling.

Battling the fire was difficult as crews had to haul hose up four flights of stairs.

It took about two hours to put out the fire.

No one was hurt and damage was minor.
