A former Valley City State University football player has been convicted of sexual assaulting an unconscious 19-year-old woman in a dorm room.
22–year–old Christopher Ratteray Jr. was convicted on two counts of felony sexual assault related to the February 2011 incident.
Prosecutors say sexually explicit images of the nude victim captured by the defendant's cell phone helped the jury reach a quick verdict.
The charges carry a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison.
