Fargo Police say the victim who fell from a downtown building is a 26-year-old woman from Fargo.
An NDSU Officer found the woman early Sunday morning in an alley in downtown Fargo.
Police say the victim was conscious when paramedics arrived and was taken to the hospital for potential serious injuries.
The fall appeared to be accidental and no foul play is suspected.
Alcohol may have been a factor.
Lt. Joel Vettel says, "The types of things, especially when alcohol is a factor sometimes it's difficult to figure out exactly how a person ended up falling from a building or in this circumstance, if it was an accident, it was something intentional an act of some sort a lot of those things will hopefully be determined through interviews of other parties and an interview with the victim."
The woman fell from the building located at 26 Roberts Street.
The name and condition of the victim have not yet been released.
