Dep. U.S. Marshal's Death Ruled A Suicide

An autopsy reveals the death of a Deputy U.S. Marshal August first in Grand Forks has been ruled a suicide.


46-year-old Robert Wood was a 24 year veteran of the Marshal's Service.


His body was discovered in government–owned vehicle in the 1300 block of Belmont Road near Lincoln Park.

 

The autopsy says Wood died of a self–inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
