Sending Anonymous Tips to GF Authorities

Bookmark and Share

People in the Grand Forks area now have new ways to send an anonymous tip to authorities.

The Grand Forks Sheriff's Office, University of North Dakota, and Grand Forks Police Department have launched "Tip411."

Anyone with a cell phone can simply texting the word, "Tipster" and the tip information to 847411(tip411).

People can also send anonymous tips online, on any of the department's websites.

Another way to share a tip is through the Grand Forks Regional Tip a Cop app.

Community members with iPhones are encouraged to install the app by visiting the Apple App Store and searching for “GFTipster”.  For android phones, go to Google Play and search “GFTipster”.

Keep in mind that these are only for non-emergencies.
