A self-described "bounty hunter" and an alleged accomplice have been arrested after Fargo police say they kicked in the door of an innocent person on one of their raids.
Anthony Greeno, of South Carolina, and Tanner Olson, of West Fargo, were arrested this morning in a West Fargo house.
Olson was taken without incident while Greeno was found hiding in the home.
They are wanted in connection with an incident where they allegedly kicked in the door of a suspected fugitive, only to find that they had the wrong address, and then lying to police about their involvement.
Lt. Joel Vettel says, "We're not going to apologize for certainly doing our job and certainly not going to apologize for individuals that choose to come into our community, make the very bad choice to act under the guise of being a legitimate business and ultimately committing crimes as a result of their behavior."
Greeno and Olson are each facing charges of trespassing and lying to law enforcement.
Greeno has his own late-night reality show in South Carolina.
The show features him catching wanted criminals "by any means necessary."
He was hired by a local bounty hunting group to catch fugitives in the F-M area.
