Samsung Galaxy Note 7 phones are being recalled.

The U-S Consumer Product Safety Commission says they want anyone who purchased one before September 15 to stop using it immediately and return the device.

The recall is issued for nearly 3 million phones.

Samsung has at least 92 reports of batteries overheating and catching fire, along with 26 reports of people being burned.

The company says they have a replacement program in place including a new Note 7, or Galaxy S7.

Consumers will also get a $25 gift card or bill credit.
