FARGO, N.D. -

The Bethany Auxiliary hosted its annual Potato Bar and Apple Fest at Bethany Retirement Living in Fargo.

The event has been held each year for the past 22 years.

The food served was donated and even though the price at the door is pretty low event organizers says those who attend usually say keep the change.

The baked potato bar and apple based deserts are donated and all proceeds are too.

They go directly back to The Bethany Auxiliary.

"The money that the Auxiliary raises goes all back to the residents fund and each department in both campuses," said Auxiliary President Diane Pearson. "They decide what they really would like that would benefit the residents."

Last year the event raised about $600.

This year, they hoped to match that amount.
