FARGO, N.D. -

The school year is already about to start and the YMCA is ready with its after school activities.

The YMCA of Cass–Clay offers after school programs at more than thirty learning centers across the Metro.

Students get help with their homework, participate in physical fitness classes and learn critical social skills.

The program is all about getting kids a great head start.

"They're going to learn how to walk in line, social skills...many teachers come to us and tell us that their kids show up in kindergarten and they can pick kids out of YMCA programs," says Casey Sanders, Marketing and Retention Director of the Cass-Clay YMCA.

Registration for the fall program is open right now.
