Essentia Health celebrates the opening of its new clinic in south Fargo with a ribbon cutting.

The $7 million primary care and walk–in clinic is at the intersection of 52nd Avenue South and 42nd Street South.

The 21,000 square foot facility offers family medicine, sports medicine and physical therapy.

Two fireplaces and a spacious waiting area provide a warm welcome to patients and their families.

"Things that we are providing in the way of services are based on what we learned from the market through that survey — one of the big things was that people want to be seen for their health care when it's convenient for them," said Essentia VP of Primary Care Clinics, Mark Waldera.

Other services include physical therapy, radiology, diabetes education and dietitians.
