FARGO, N.D. -

A new business in downtown Fargo opens its doors up to the community...and you don't have to be vegan to enjoy it.

Green House Café celebrated its grand opening at 68 Broadway with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Owners want the community to know while the café is completely vegan in nature, it's not about the stigma that seems to plague vegan food of being boring and tasteless.

They say what the café is really about is the community they are serving.

"On Monday nights, we close at 3:00pm on Mondays," said owner Joey Haynes. "We're only going to go through lunch and that's for the community. We want to do as much as we can to bring in local artists and local musicians and underprivileged families and all types of things. Anything we can do to help the community."

The locally owned café says they will have a full range of flavor and all types of food for all to enjoy, whether you are vegan or not.
