MINNESOTA -

Bad news for Globe University and the Minnesota School of Business; their rights to operate are being revoked.

Globe University announced the closing of its Moorhead campus just last year, saying it was due to a drop in enrollment.

The Myhre family, which owns the two universities, closed six campuses in Minnesota and Wisconsin after being accused of enrolling students into its criminal justice program without accreditation.

The Woodbury based business has been ordered by a Hennepin County judge to stop the fraudulent practices and to pay legal costs back to the state.

More than 1,000 students may also receive restitution.
