A Hollywood actress is arrested for criminal trespass and engaging in a riot at another Dakota Access Pipeline protest south of Bismarck.
"So everybody knows we were going to our vehicle which they had all surrounded and waited for me with giant guns and a giant truck behind them just so they could arrest me so they knew this would happen," said Shailene Woodley. "I hope you're watching mainstream media."
Woodley aired her arrest live on social media.
The "Divergent" star was among 100 protesters on a construction site in Sioux County, North Dakota.
Twenty-seven people were arrested.
Woodley posted a $500 fine and will be in court on the 24th.
The Army Corps of Engineers says it won't yet authorize construction on federal land in southern North Dakota.
The corps statement comes after a federal appeals court ruling Sunday allowing construction to resume within 20 miles of Lake Oahe.
