A local business makes a donation to benefit Habitat for Humanity.
Fargo based Spectrum Aeromed presented the organization a check for $25,000 in south Moorhead.
The money will cover much of the cost of building a home for Stacey Fonder and her family.
The donation was facilitated by United Way of Cass Clay.
For Spectrum, the gift was appropriate as the company and Habitat for Humanity share an important anniversary.
"It was just the perfect opportunity when Habitat For Humanity's 25th anniversary – it's also Spectrum Aeromed's 25th anniversary this year – so we thought it would be fitting to sponsor the anniversary build," says Tammy Enright, Business Manager of Spectrum Aeromed.
Spectrum designs and manufactures air ambulance equipment.
Employees have volunteered for numerous United Way events including the School Supply Drive and Gobble It Up Food Drive.
