MOORHEAD, Minn. -

More than 200 people per day use the computers at the Moorhead Public Library, but the computer labs could be a little safer.

The library is looking to raise $7,000 in donations to purchase new and more durable chairs which will replace older, broken ones.

The new chairs are part of the library's efforts to make itself a functional and up–to–date place for its patrons.

"We have a very generous community. Businesses and individuals have been sponsoring chairs and all you have to do is ask, and people will jump in and help. We're very thankful," says Megan Krueger, Director of the Moorhead Public Library.

Donors are able to sponsor a chair for a gift of $150 and will be recognized through gift plates on each chair.
