MOORHEAD, Minn. -

They served up free ice cream to students and a few professors got a pie in the face this afternoon at MSUM.

The "Ice Cream Palooza" was all a part of homecoming week and put on by all the homecoming court nominees.

It follows last night's life-sized Battleship game in the pool at Nemzek.

The student ice cream scoopers say it's all in an effort to get people socializing and to boost school spirit.

"We're chock full of everything this week and we are so excited, everything's been really successful and it's a really fun week," student activities graduate assistant Jenna Halvorson says.
