FARGO, N.D. -

Montana authorities say a man picked up three teenage girls in Fargo for a sex trafficking scheme.

Two are from North Dakota and one is from Minnesota.

Terrance Edwards has been charged with sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion after he was arrested last week at a Billings hotel.

Two days before he was arrested, he picked up three girls, ages 15, 16 and 17, in Fargo and brought them to Billings.

He also brought in two other women from Montana and Washington.

Authorities say Edwards even had one of the women drive him to court for a probation hearing for a prior prostitution conviction.
