FARGO, N.D. -

A fundraising walk was held at Lindenwood Park to support those suffering from Crohn's Disease and Colitis.

Organizers say this year's event has a better turnout than last year's.

They beat their record this year, raising almost $30,000.

They shared free information on the diseases and modern therapies for treatment.

Leading the walk is this year's honorary hero Kennedy Cupido who was diagnosed with Crohn's two years ago.

"When I was diagnosed I was really sick. I missed a lot of school and people don't realize that it doesn't just affect your health. It affects your school, it affects your family life because it just has so many symptoms and it's not well known about," says Cupido.
