A little rainy weather did not stop people from coming out to The Meadows and Village Green's 20th Annual Food Drive.

People who donated at least three non-perishable food items were given free 18 hole green fees.

Food donations included canned goods, spaghetti, and even cereals to name a few.

All of the items collected will go to local food banks and then handed out to those in need in the community.

"It's something that we always enjoy doing," said Head Golf Professional Corey Herlickson. "We look forward to the day, a lot of our golfers look forward to the day as well. They'll ask what the date is because they want to contribute and they want to help out. It helps the local community here and if you can give back to that, that's a huge difference."

The food drive also took place at Village Green Golf Course in Moorhead.
