Sundog hosted a block party this afternoon, giving all proceeds to United Way of Cass Clay.
Hundreds of people showed up for five dollar brats and burgers.
Other companies came to the party to hand out giveaways and even give free massages.
United Way leaders say they're hoping to raise $10,000 from this block party alone.
"We're humbled by the support this community gives to United Way. The fact they come out for a lunch and support people in need is awesome. Our community is strong because of people that take the time to come have lunch and support organizations like United Way and Sundog," United Way Marketing director Kristina Hein says.
United Way helps fight hunger, homelessness, and poverty in the area.
