FARGO, N.D. -

This town is full of NDSU Bison fans, but also UND Fighting Hawks fans.

UND's Champions Club hosted its fan luncheon at the Ramada in Fargo.

The university's athletics booster organization holds a luncheon every month to gives fans living in the metro an up close look at the sports and coaches they follow.

The Champions Club has been hosting fan lunches in Fargo for seven years.

Raising money for the school's sports programs is a big part of the club's mission.

"The money that they do give helps the university and the athletic program," said Champions Club Director Mike Manasa. "Other than that, we just want people to enjoy, have fun and relax and listen to their favorite coaches from their favorite sports, and it's a way for us to say thanks for all they do for us."

The Champions Club has been the university's main athletics booster since 1991.
