WEST FARGO, N.D. -

A traffic change will happen in one week in the work zone on Main Avenue in West Fargo.

The east bound lane will be shifted to the new roadway while crews work on the median.

Right now traffic is going head to head in only the west bound lane.

Gutter and curb work will be complete at the end of the week and crews are preparing to pave the center turn lanes.

Sixth Street South is temporarily closed until traffic shifts.

"So at times access might be right in right out turns and you might have to  u turns at the next intersection to get around so they will have to watch for new signage and things like that," says Justin Oss, a Project Engineer with West Fargo.

West Fargo Public Works says each week more intersections are opening.

The complete project is expected to be complete by October 15.
