Gehrig To Run For Fargo City Commission

The man who finished last in a field of seven for two seats on Fargo’s City Commission is trying again.

Anthony Gehrig has filed paperwork to run in the April 28th special election.

Gehrig and John Strand, who also ran in June and lost, are both running for the seat being vacated by Tim Mahoney.

He is running for Mayor against former commissioner Brad Wimmer.

Voters will also decide a Home Rule Charter question asking if commissioners must resign to run for Mayor.

The deadline to file for office is February 23rd.
