Man Sues Moorhead Police

Moorhead police are slapped with a federal civil rights lawsuit.

Marcus Hemsworth claims officer Toby Krone assaulted him after a traffic stop last February.

Court documents say Hemsworth was arrested on a warrant and placed into handcuffs before Krone slammed him into a squad car and struck him three times in the testicles from behind.

Hemsworth’s attorney says quote “Any man knows that’s a painful experience to go through”.

The chief of police declined to comment about the lawsuit.
