Officers On Leave After Shooting Man

Two officers are on leave and a 43-year-old Tracy, Minnesota man is in the hospital after he was allegedly shot by the officers in Jamestown.

Authorities say the man fled from an officer who responded to a report of a drunk person at a convenience store shortly after midnight Monday.

Officers shot the man to protect an officer who had approached the man’s vehicle and was in danger of being run over.

The man has not been identified and his condition is not known.
