Teen Sentenced For Crash That Injured UND Hockey Player

An Arvilla, North Dakota teen found guilty of aggravated reckless driving is sentenced.

19-year-old Tristen Johnson was given 126 days in jail.

That’s the number of days since an accident in November severely injured UND women’s hockey player Lisa Marvin.

Marvin was hit by Johnson while trying to fill her stalled pickup with gas on Gateway Drive in Grand Forks.

The injuries have prevented the Warroad native from returning to the ice.
