Alexandria Woman Hit By Falling Tree

A large tree knocked down by yesterday’s high winds struck a woman on an ATV in White Township.

Authorities say 22-year-old Amber Franks of Alexandria was riding the ATV along a trail when she was hit.

Franks was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

Her condition has not been released.

White Township is about five miles southwest of Aurora.
