Income Tax Relief Headed to Governor’s Desk

North Dakota lawmakers pass a bill that will cut individual income taxes by 10 percent and corporate income taxes by 5 percent.

The bill now heads to Gov. Dalrymple for his signature.

It is expected to reduce state revenue by about $108 million over the next two years.

Lawmakers began this session with several proposals to lower individual tax rates or to reduce them to zero.

The tax cuts should save about $300 annually for a middle-income family.
