Bail Set for Sawyer Superintendent Accused of Human Trafficking
Bail is set at $250,000 for the superintendent/principal of Sawyer Public Schools accused of having sex with a 15-year-old boy.
Charles Soper made his first court appearance in Minot on three felony charges including human trafficking, luring and corruption or solicitation of a minor.
Court documents say Soper met with the boy at least eleven times and on most occasions a third male was involved.
Soper denied the charges in court and says he didn’t think the bond was fair.
He’ll be back in court on June 11 for a preliminary hearing.
