United Way Surpasses 2014 Fundraising Goal with Gobble Lunch

Hundreds of people once again grab an inexpensive lunch to support the 8th Annual Hornbacher’s Gobble it Up for United Way.

The event raised over $27,000.

For just $5 you could get a hot Jennie-O turkey sandwich on a Hornbacher’s bun with Frito Lay chips, Pepsi or Aquafina water and Kemps frozen treat.

They were served up at lunch time at all 7 Hornbacher’s locations in the metro.

2-thousand lunches were even ordered in advance!

All of the food is donated and the proceeds go to the United Way.
