Some local media outlets have attempted to stun viewers and readers with large numbers of refugees coming to resettle in the Red River Valley.
But just how realistic are those resettlement numbers?

Some have accused those outlets of “click-bait”, a well known practice of working stories to entice readers to increase a business’ website clicks.
The public outrage over the reports resulted in petitions designed to encourage people to stop Lutheran Social Services from bringing refugees here and the comments on social media have been a battle between those who support LSS and those who are now against them.
