Grand Forks Police Comparing Bank Robbery Suspects

Grand Forks Police say they are working on a possible connection between two bank robberies in the city.

Police are studying the surveillance video in both robberies to compare the women.

The woman who robbed the Citizens Community Credit Union on Monday is described as a heavy-set woman, possibly Native American and in her 30’s or 40’s.

She walked into the bank with a handgun and demanded money.

The woman who robbed a Bremer Bank on Sept. 30 has a similar description but was carrying a box knife.

There were not any customers in the banks at either robbery and no one was hurt.
