North Dakota Awarded Grants for Specialty Crops

Multiple ag agencies in North Dakota will get millions to promote specialty crops in the state.

State Ag Commissioner Doug Goehring has awarded 27 grants that total more than two million dollars.

NDSU, the North Dakota Trade Office and the National Sunflower Association are just a few of the businesses to receive the grants.

While the state is one of the top leaders of specialty crops such as dry peas lentils, honey and confection sunflowers, the money will be used to promote, produce and process those crops.
