Former President Carter Says He’s Cancer Free

Former President Jimmy Carter announces he is cancer free and his most recent M-R-I brain scan did not show signs of melanoma or new spots.

Carter, who is 91-years-old, says he will continue his immunotherapy treatments.

He announced four months ago that cancer had spread to his brain and that doctors had already removed part of his liver.

He says he looks forward to continuing his work with Habitat for Humanity and his other humanitarian work.
