The Nation Remembers Sandy Hook
Today marks the third anniversary of the Sandy Hook Massacre in Newtown, Connecticut.
20-year-old Adam Lanza shot and killed his mother, 20 children and six adults before turning the gun on himself.
President Obama read the names of the victims in honor of the day and flags flew at half-staff in Hartford.
Protestors gathered outside the N-R-A’s headquarters in Virginia, and held a rally to stand against gun violence and the stand your ground law.
Others participated in a Walk to End Violence rally.
