Amazon Refunding for Hoverboards…But Still Selling Product

Amazon announces it is willing to give a refund to people who purchased hoverboards on its website.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission is investigating more than three dozen cases of hoverboards smoking and bursting into flames.

They are urging retailers and manufacturers to follow Amazon’s decision, although Amazon says they will still be selling the product.

The CPSC is asking consumers if they do purchase a hoverboard to wear safety gear and be aware of the fire dangers.
