State Officials Monitor Pipeline Spill In Belfield
State officials are monitoring a pipeline leak in Billings County.
Two thousand gallons of saltwater and oil spilled at a site operated by White Rock Oil and Gas eighteen miles northwest of Belfield.
The Health Department estimates that a portion of the forty barrels of saltwater and eight barrels of oil that spilled flowed into a nearby pond.
State officials will remain on site until they can determine the long–term environmental impacts of the spill.
